On April 24, 1912, it was the privilege of the Baha'i
children of Washington to have' Abdu'l-Baha at their meeting. He gave them the
most helpful message, sweetened their little mouths with candy and blessed them
with these words: "Praise be to God! These children are like a bouquet of
roses in their utmost beauty, delicacy and sweetness."
