Asked about Bahá'u'lláh referring to Himself as This Youth,
and its meaning, the Guardian said Bahá'u'lláh was only 27 years old when He
espoused the Babi Cause, and 35 years of age at the time of His first
declaration (of being "Him Whom God shall make Manifest”). Afterward there
was a difference of opinion as to whether he said it expressed youth and
vitality or eternal youth.
